Giulia Palombi è Ricercatrice (RTT) nel settore scientifico–disciplinare IEGE-01/A (già ING-IND/35) (Ingegneria Economico–Gestionale) presso Universitas Mercatorum (Roma) da Giugno 2024. Precedentemente è stata Ricercatrice (RTD-A) (2021-2024) e Assegnista di Ricerca (2018-2021) presso la Sapienza Università di Roma.
Formazione
Nel 2015 ha conseguito la Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Gestionale con la votazione di 110 e lode presso la Sapienza Università di Roma con una tesi svolta in collaborazione con Regent’s University London (UK).
Nel gennaio del 2019 ha conseguito il Dottorato in Ingegneria Industriale e Gestionale presso la Sapienza Università di Roma, durante il percorso di dottorato ha trascorso un semestre di studio e ricerca presso la University of Kentucky (USA).
Didattica
Dall’A.A. 2024/2025 è docente di Strategia, Organizzazione e Marketing presso Universitas Mercatorum nell’ambito del corso di Laurea Magistrale in Management e del corso di Laurea Magistrale in Cybersecurity. Dall’A.A. 2021/2022 è docente di Gestione Aziendale presso la Sapienza Università di Roma nell’ambito del corso di Laurea in Ingegneria Gestionale. Negli anni accademici 2021/2022, 2022/2023 e 2024/2025 è stata docente in diversi Master di Secondo livello organizzati da Sapienza Università di Roma.
Precedentemente è stata docente del Laboratorio di Ingegneria Economico-Gestionale presso la Sapienza Università di Roma nell’ambito del corso di Laurea in Ingegneria Gestionale (A.A. 2019/2020 e 2020/2021) e nell’A.A. 2020/2021 docente di Strategia, Organizzazione e Marketing presso Universitas Mercatorum nell’ambito del corso di Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Gestionale.

I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano il comportamento organizzativo e la gestione dell’innovazione. In particolare riguardano il comportamento e le performance dei gruppi di lavoro, le strategie di gestione dell’innovazione nell’ambito della digitalizzazione, dell’AI e della salvaguardia della cybersecurity e strategie di gestione dell’innovazione in ottica di sostenibilità e di economia circolare.
Le sue pubblicazioni principali sono apparse su riviste scientifiche internazionali, tra cui Journal of Organization Design, Decision Support Systems e Business Strategy and the Environment.
